DEFENDED DIVORCE

Allegations of adultery on the part of his wife, Irene Marv Fleming (Mr. Dickson), were made~bv Gordon William Fleming, fellmonge'r (Mr. M Robinson), in the hearing of his petition for a divorce which .was continued before Mr. Justice Callan and a % jury in the Supreme Court to-day. These allegations were denied by both the wife and Reginald Johnston, factory hand (Mr. Dickson) who was cited as co-respondent. Evidence was given by Leonard Owen Bellette, private inquiry agent that he saw the respondent and corespondent go into a house in Station Road, Papatoetoe, on September 13 last. While bathing at Thome's Bay on Saturday, a young man collapsed and died from heart failure. He was Mr. Tarleton Richard Wilme Trafford, aged 26, of 45, Carlton Gore Road, Newmarket, and was employed as a clerk at the New Zealand Breweries, Limited.
