DOG REGISTRATION
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Monday
The time fo? the registration of dogs under the Dogs Registration Act, 1908, has been extended to March 1. Normally registration would commence on January 1. The Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Parry, stated to-night that the reason for the extension was that some local authorities could not obtain the necessary collars owing to the shortage of metal parts. There was a possibility of supplies being available early next year.
