BARE LEGS
COVER THE FEET
Many Auckland girls and women will soon be going barelegged, or wearing bottled stockings, now that summer is coming. The following adVice from the Health Council in England should therefore be useful. The council points out that it is not hygienic to have nothing between foot and shoes, and suggests that a shaped piece of white cloth be placed beneath each foot before the shoe is put on, and that the material at the toes be large enough to co/er them.
. The feet of old lisle stockings, cut from the worn-out legs, are also useful for the purpose.
