EXERCISES IN SUPPLY (P.A.) WELLINGTON, this day. Important exercises were held by the Manawatu group of the newlyformed Lines of Communication Mechanical Transport Companies at Himitangi. Officers and N.C.O.'s of other companies assembled from Wellington, Masterton, Waipukurau and Hastings. The basic featurfe of the manoeuvres involved delivery to a refilling point of loads of petrol and ammunition, and the exercises also included an experimental gas alarm and camouflage practice. Features of the manoeuvres were studied from a vantage point by senior officers and other visitors.
