CONFERENCE AT WAIRAKEI
MANUFACTCRICRS' FEDERATION
The annual confercnce of the New Zealand Manufacturers' Federation will be held at Wairakei from to-morrow until Friday of this week. Over 100 delegates will attend the conference, which will be opened by Mr. Sullivan. Minister of Industries and Commerce. The remits cover a \yirie range of subjects. Particular consideration, will be given to the relationsnip of civilians to war production, manpower problems and the effect of the Govei nment s price stabilisation policy on manufacturing industries whose principal costs, such as raw njaterials and wages, have not also been stabilised from Septemr., ' i I l ' ..^ Ir ' c - v - Smith, president of the federation, will preside.
