Offensive By R.A.F. Night Bombers 1 BRITAIN AGAIN QUIET Rec. 1.30 p.m. RUGBY, Oct. 17. The latest Air Ministry communique states: "Bomber Command aircraft attacked objectives at Duisburg and elsewhere in the Ruhr last night. The docks at Dunkirk, Ostend and Calais were also attacked, as was enemy shipping off the Norwegian coast and near the Frisian Islands.
"Two bomber aircraft and two Coastal Command planes are missing."
A small number of enemy aircraft crossed the east coast of England at one or two places and flew short distances inland. There are no reports of any bombs having been dropped. An enemy bomber was shot down into the sea by R.A.F. fighters' just before yesterday evening.
