Sale In Washington For British War Charities / ONCE PROPERTY OF QUEENS Rec. 1 p.m. RUGBY, Oct. 17. Beautiful old lace, which once belonged to four Queens of England, is part of the collection neing flown to the United States for the benefit of British war charity. The Queen has presented a bridal veil, stated to be worth £4000. Amongst the lovely pieces sent by Queen Mary is a deep flounce of Point de Gaze, which belonged to Queen Alexandra. There is also a rare garment once worn by Queen Charlotte as well as Venetian point lace that graced the gowns of Marie Antoinette

These heirlooms, whose beauty time has served rather to increase than to spoil, are to be offered for sale at the British Embassy in Washington on November 15.
