Ambler—Bentley. — The engage ment is announced between Geoffrey, second son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Ambler, of Birkdale, and Edith, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Bentley, also of Birkdale.
Coon—Bartleet:—Mr. and Mrs. Bartleet, of 8, Rostrevor Avenue, announce the engagement of their eldest daughter, Loraine Ailsa, to Robert Arthur, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Coon, 55, Namata Road, Onehunga.
Gil In in—Dicks. — The engagement is announced between Jean Marie, only daughter of Mrs. and the late Mr. A. W. Dicks, of Parau, and John Herbert, only son of Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Gillam, of Laingholm.
Eaton—Bell.—The engagement is announced between Lieutenant John Ross Duff Eaton, New Zealand Medical Con>s, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Eaton, of Whakarara Station, Hastings, and Dorothy Bruce, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Bell, of Remuera.
