Mr. W. A. Hislop, of Wellington, is visiting Auckland. Mr. Justice Fair left for Wellington this afternoon. Mr. J. B. Johnston returned from Wellington by the Limited express to-day. Mr. A. H. Johnstone, K.C., returned from the South by train this morning. Mr. A. Sutherland has returned to his home in Remuera after undergoing an operation in hospital. The Rt. Hon. J. G. Rippon, Automobile Association patrol in Suva, who has been over a month in the Colonial War Memorial Hospital, has now resumed duty. Mr. F. H. Perrin, of Calcutta manager for India of the New Zealand Insurance Company, has arrived a>: Auckland on furlough, accompanied by Mrs. Perrin. Mr. David Kee, formerly of the Church Army in New Zealand, has i recently been in charge of a Church Army mobile canteen in Eritrea and Abyssinia. A month ago be went to Palestine to take chargc of a Church Army hut.
