AMICABLE RELATIONS
FRIENDLY SOCIETY DESIRE The desire of the Auckland branch of the Manchester Un|ty Oddfellows to maintain amicable relations with the medical officers at present serving members was mentioned to-day by Mr. John McLeod. the district secretary of the order. This, he thought, would also be the view of other friendly societies.
Mr. McLeod pointed out that he was unable to comment on the proposals. as he had not yet seen a copy of the bill.
"If the doctors have come to an arrangement with the Government we certainly will welcome it," he added. "Our success, as a friendly society, has been largely due to the co-operation of the medical officers attached to the various branches."
