VETERAN SATISFIED
Tod Morgan dropped in at the Daily Telegraph office at Sydney last Monday to report that his weight progress is satisfactory, and that he is close to his peak. He is to fight Vic. Patrick for the lightweight title at Sydney Stadium on Thursday week.
"I might easily be lighter than Patrick," said Tod, who has his wife in Sydney supervising his diet. When Morgan (age 38) fought Patrick (21), the challenger, on July 3 the youngster won the Australian lightweight title on a points decision in 15 rounds.
