Morris — Harrison. — The engagement is announced between Mona. fifth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Harrison, of Wolverton Road, Avondale, and Frederick William Earl Morris, Second N.Z.E.F., Overseas, only son of Mrs. B. A. Sumich, New Lynn, and the late Mr. Frederick Owen Morris, of Wanganui.

Whittaker—Laing.—The engage ment is announced between Nancy Miriam, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Laing, In, Harper Street Gonville, and Rex Joseph, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Whittaker, Waitara.
