OBITUARY
MRS. W. R. DON
(P.A.) DUNEDIN, this day. The death has occurred after a long illness of Mrs. W. R. Don, a former president of the New Zealand Women's Christian Temperance Union, at the age of 74 years. Born in Hokitika, she was an accredited local preacher in the Methodist Church for 25 years, being the first woman in New Zealand to occupy that position. She lectured all over New Zealand on behalf of prohibition, foreign missions and evangelistic work.
