REP. GAME AT HUNTLY
AUCKLAND LEAGUE'S PLANS
Tli« principal attraction in the Rupby League code this week is a representative match in the Waikato between Auckland and South Auckland. The programme at Carlaw Park will comprise three games, Richmond, Mount Albert and Marist having been allotted byes.
Mr. Ivan Culpan, secretary of the Auckland Rugby League, stated at last night's meeting of the control board that the Auckland XIII would depart by bus at 10 a.m. on Saturday for Huntlv and that arrangements had been made to entertain 'the visitors at tea. which will be followed by a social and dance. Messrs. J. Clark and E. Chapman were appointed managers.
An Auckland schoolboys' team will also travel by train and play South Auckland In the curtainraiser at Huntly.
A motion of sympathy was passed with the relatives of the late Mr. R. A. Splnlev, who was a former secretary of the Auckland League. The chairman. Mr. o. Grey Campbell, paid a high tribute to Mr. Spinley'a fine work In the early days of the code.
Registrations of senior players approved: L. A Naughton (North Shore), G. H. Hewson (papakura).

MAORIS V. PAKEHAS
SATURDAY WEEK'S ATTRACTION
A representative game between the Maoris and Pakehas will be played at Carlaw Park on Saturday week The proceeds will be in aid of the injured players' lund. Teams:—
