MONDAY'S WRESTLING
When Fred Atkins, t'he powerful Australian wrestler, made his 'bow here his opponent was Joe Corbett. who finished in a K.O.'d heap with a split lip outside the rope 6. After that match Joe issued a return challenge to Atkins. He has had to wait, however, until he was fully fit again before getting that bout; and it is to be ■ sponsored by the . Auckland Wrestling Association at the Town Hall on Monday next. If Atkins is to be upset this eeason, however, it is not unlikely that Corbett will be the man to do it. A good preliminary programme has been selected, including the following amateur matches: D. Harding, 10.S, v. G. Hoivileon, 10.8; S. M. Price, 10.8, v. J. Wright, 10.6; W. Williamson v. B. Waugh, 9.7.
