UNDEFENDED DIVORCE

Pa £ s £ M arguerite Milne Brimble (Mr. Schramm) was granted a decree nisi of divorce from Edward Pierpont Brimble by Mr. Justice Fa*" in the Supreme Court to-dav Petitioner gave evidence that about seven years after their marriage she had \\ords with her husband about his friendship with another woman. Sho said he had to choose between them and he said he would stick to the other one. and agreed it was best that he and petitioner should part That was in 1937. and she had no' since lived with him. but had got a magisterial maintenance order Seeking an order directing her husband to return to her. Lorna Beverley Humphries (Mr. Schramm) said that after her marriage to George Isaac Humphries she found he drank a good deal, and this caused faction with the result that he left her when thev had been married onlv a fortnight. She had since seen "him and written to him asking him to giv» up drink and return to her, but he had not returned.
