Scored One Run But Won Game!
The recent feats of Dulwich College (England), which has dismissed St.. Paul's for 33 and 49, U.C.S. for 10 and K.C.S. for 10, turned thoughts to other small scoring matches. W. N. Roe, sen., used to tell the story of a school match in which one side gained a lead of one on the first innings, dismissed its opponent for 0 when it batted again and thus won by an innings and one run.
Then there was that extraordinary game in the Midlands between Kegworth and Diseworth, which was played about 100 years ago. Diseworth batted first and scored one run, but that single enabled them to win the match as Kegworth failed to score at all! This match must -urelv be unique in the history of
