CANDY DIET FOR A.J.C. DERBY HOPE
Victoria's A.J.C. Derby hope, Murmuring—"Mike" to stable handstrains on a light diet of cough drops and peppermints. " 'Mike' will eat 'em as fast as you can hand them to him," said a stable boy, who travels with him. "He'll go for chocolates and candies, too. He is the best 'sweettooth' I have seen—-not excluding Ajax." Trainer Musgrave has a high opinion of the colt. "Murmuring, as Pandect did last year, will win the Derby." he said. "Both horses are fit and well. For the time being they will go along quietly." The first Sydney engagements for Munrn'nng and Prndoct have no I y ' chosen.
