Manukau Club And Warwick Cup — The final function of the Mainikau Yacht Club"n jubilee >car (founded in 1891) took place when a smoke concert was tendered to old numbers, vice-presi-dents and donors of the past season. The commodore, Mr. K. J. Baker, presided, and was supported by Mr. John I'ark, Mayor of Onehuiiga. and a past-president ami commodore of the club, also Mr. A. G. Osborne, M.P. The chairman briefly reviewed the past history of the club, paying a tribute to the foundation members and all who had held office during the past 50 years. He presented life membership medals and certificates to Messrs. .T. Park and J. Gilbert, who were the first' members to receive this honour in 1910, before the medals or certificates were instituted. Both recipients acknowledged the honour conferred on theni 31 years ago. Toaut honoured included "Local Bodies." proposed by Mr. W. Pickerinp, and acknowledged by Messrs. I. Park and A. G. Osborne. M.P.: "Vice-Presidents and Donors," proposed by the commodore ■and responded to by Mr. R. Belc-her; "Members Overseas," proposed by Mr. J. Laird, who stated that the rear-commo-dore. Mr. R. Wanner, and over 50 othc-r members, were with the forces overeeae.
