KINDERGARTEN FAILS IN WARWICK STAKES High Caste Triumphs Kindergarten, outstanding racehorse in New Zealand last season, when he won 11 races on end, was defeated in his debut in Australia this afternoon in the Warwick Farm Stakes, seven furlongs, at weight-for-age aiiii allowances. The race was a triumph for Higrh Caste who was t*olfl by the Te Awamutu sports man. -Mr. A. .T. Midovnn. as a two-year old, and later proved himself an outstand ing performer in Australia, beating al champions as they came along. Kindergarten was generally expected ir New Zealand to lie a certain winnei to-day. but some Australian authorities gave the palm yesterday to the ultimate winner, Hitrh Caste. It had been announce! that a description of the race would br broadcast, but reception was bad and onl.\ the result of the contest was announced This was as follows: — High Caste 1, Freckles " Kindergarten • and Lucrative, dead-heat for third place
