FEARS BRITAIN
Hostile Speech By Lindbergh In America DENIED USE OF CITY HALL (Reed. 5 p.m.) NEW YORK, Aug. 29. Colonel Lindbergh, in a speech at an America-First Committee rally at Baseball Park, outside Oklahoma City limits, as the committee was denied the use of the municipal auditorium, said he considers it possible England may turn against the United States before the war ends, "as she has turned against France and Finland."
Lindbergh referred to those who "question my words" and to the history of the relations between the United States and England over the last 150 years. He questioned the integrity of British leadership and added: "She will turn against us if it becomes expedient for her welfare in the future."
