MRS. ELIZABETH BALME
VOYAGE OF SHIP BOMBAY
One of the few surviving passcncers of the ship Bombay, came from England in 1860, arriving at Auckland after an 1 vovage. died in the Waikato Hos pital, Hamilton, this week. She_wa.s Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Balme® Mrs I Devonshire 80 years a«°. Mrs ; Balme, at the age of three accon I panied her parents to Nc\\ Zealanci. No sooner had they landed than hei father died suddenly at Drur> Mr.. Balme resided in the Bombay dl. trict almost all her llfe v, '1 survived by five of her family and several grandchildren.
