Gamlcn—Jennings.—The engagement is announced between William Peter Blagdon, elder son of the late Mr. R. B. Gamlen. Devon. England, and Mrs. H. V. Johansen. of Papatoetoe, and Margaret Winifred, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Jennings, Eraser Road, Hawera.
Herriott —Montgomery.—The engagement is announced between Jack Owen Miles, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Herriott, of Remuera, and Jean Bartley, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. P. Montgomery, of Mount Eden.
Moir—White.—Mr. and Mrs. A. White, of 35, Sandes Street, Thames, announce the engagement of their third daughter, Leona Joy, to Neil Albert, only son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Moir, of Maria Street, Onehunga.
Sweeney—Greig—Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Greig, of Adam Street, Green Lane, Auckland, announce the engagement of their only daughter. Jean Isobel, to Petty-Officer Athol Thornton Sweeney, only son of Mrs. and the late Mr. W. J. Sweeney, of Clifton Road, Hamilton.
Probert—Mahoney.—The engagement is announced between Leading Aircraftsman Ronald A. Probert, third son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Probert, of Carlton Gore Road. Grafton, and Patricia' Mary, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. N. G. Mahoney, of Counsel Terrace, Mount Albert.

Cruickshank—Hall.—The engagement is announced between Betty, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Hail, of Oxford Street, Levin, and Pilot-Officer Robert Bruce, second son of Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Cruickshank, of Victoria Avenue, Remuera, Auckland.
