WAVE OF TERRORISM
Ruthless German Brutality In Yugoslavia AMERICANS' STORY JERUSALEM, Aug. 15. Americans who have been evacuated from Yugoslavia report a new wave of terrorism against the Serbs. They reveal ruthless shootings, and the destruction of Serbians' property. Over 7000 Serbs were killed in "one centre, and on the first dav after Yugoslavia's capitulation, the Germans shot 1500 Serbs.
Serbian villages north of Belgrade have been sacked and set on fire, and their entire populations killed. Members of the Hungarian minority, and also Hungarian troops have been taking part.
Yugoslav guards whom the Germans placed in Serbia have been disarmed because the Germans suspect them of assisting the Serbs.
Berlin news agency reports from Zagreb mention wholesale shootings in Bosnia as the result of a "mutiny" in a concentration camp.
Two men were shot in Sarajevo for distributing leaflets.
