POLICE ESCORT EVADED

SEARCH FOR TWO YOUTHS (P.A.) DUNEDIN, this day. Two youths, aged 17 and 15, broke away from their police escort at the Dunedin railway station last evening while being taken from the North Island to the Borstal institution at Invercargill and were still at large to-day. It was discovered this morning that a truck had been removed from a coal company's yard and it is thought it has been commandeered by the escapees.
