\IR FORCE HONOURS WHENUAPAI CRASH VICTIMS Air Force honours were accorded lat the funerals yesterday of PilotOfficer A. Foster and Leading-Air-craftsman K. M. McCulloch, who were killed on Wednesday when an ! aircraft from Whenuapai crashed < near Riverhead. I Officers and airman pilots from the ! reconnaissance squadrons at Whenuapai and others from Levin '"attended the funeral of Pilot-Officer Foster. The services at the residence of his mother. Mrs. H. P. R. i Foster, 5, Westbourne Road, i Remuera, and at Purewa cemetery i I were conducted by Canon P. Houghi ton. Flight-Lieutenant J. G. Fraser was in command of the air force escort. The Last Post was sounded at the graveside. At the funeral of Leading-Air-craftsman McCulloch, eldest son of Mr and Mrs. R. M. McCulloch. of Mount Wellington Highway, Otahuhu, a detachment of air force trainees was present. The service : in the church .was conducted by the Revs R. J. Stanton and W. R. Castle, and at the graveside in Otahuhu cemetery the air force chaplain, the Rev. A. R. Allerton, officiated. A firing party was provided by the air force.
