THE UPPER HOUSE
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. When the Legislative Council met this afternoon the Leader, the Hon. D. Wilson, moved a resolution recording appreciation of the services of the late Mr. John Alexander and sympathy with his widow and family. After a number of members had spoken, the Council adjourned as a mark of respect until next Tuesday.
