DISGUISES TO UK RAW El) j That no person should be allowed in the precincts of the Town Hall after 7.45 p.m. on the night of the annual graduation ceremonv unless without disguise and properly dressed was recommended in a report presented to the Auckland University College Council yesterday afternoon. The report proposed that a new regulation should be framed to cover the position. ■ and the council decided to ask the Students' Association to consider the regulation. Another recommendation was that the ceremonies committee should meet in March, 1942, to discuss arrangements for the next graduation ceremony. Dealing with the question whether the handing of bouquets to women graduands should be continued the committee supported the practice but recommended that some room adjacent to the stage should be used for the purpose. The women's house committee expressed a desire to continue presenting bouquets at the foot of the steps in the hall. ! The council decided that the president, Mr. W. H. Cocker, and the I chairman of the Professorial Board j Professor F. P. Worlev. should disj cuss the matter with the women's I house committee and explain the I reasons for making a change
