NEW ZEALAND PLAY
An interesting New Zealand plav, "Return," by Mrs. E. M. Doust (Rotorua) was presented at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Women Writers and Artists' Society. The play was the winning entry in a competition for one-act plays conducted by the society. Those who took part in it were Madame Bligh, Miss Nelle Donovan. Mrs. L. V. Phillips and Mrs. Jesson. It was announced that another play-writing competition will be held shortly and the winning play will be produced by the society for entry in next year's drama festival.
