" 100 CROWDED YEARS "

In order to assist the present national campaign to roue funds fur patriotic purpose*, the Government lias made available to the; National Patriotic Fund Hoard two c-opies i>t the film, •■One Hundred Crowded Years." This film, which was prepared at the Government Motion Picture Studios at Miramar. gives in its 3000 ft a short but colourful sketch of New Zealand history. Mr. Terence F. Keiily, of. the Parliamentary staff, who is staying at the Grand Hotel, has been appointed honorary organiser for the screening of •'One Hundred Crowded Years." Arrangements have been made to show the film at week-day niatinecw during school hours. All theatres have agreed to screen the film without charge and the sixpence which will he paid by each child to see the picture will be devoted entirely to patriotic funds. '"One Hundred Crowded Years" will also be screened for the general public on Sunday in the Mount Eden and Onelimifra districts. In this rase the t-lveatres have also been offered free and all proceeds wi'l 30 towards patriotic funds.
