Request For Replay If Metro.Shore Game Refused Last night's meeting of the Control Board of the Auckland Football' Association had before it a protest by MetroCollcge in regard to its first division match at Devonport last Saturday against North Shore, which won, 4 —3. luturfcrenue by spectatoi-s was alleged, nncl it was stated that the referee (Mr. V Olney) had played extra time. The MetroCollogo Club, therefore, sought a replay. A letter was also received from the North Shore Club alleging unseemly conduct by the Mctro-Colleße supporters and players toward the North Shore linesman, the lvtciec and North Shore officials. Aβ the protest from the Metro-College Uiib had not been received in the time specified by the rules, and as no notilicatioii had been given to the North Shore lltib or lhe Hefcrees' Association, the chairman (Mr. F. H. Baker) ruled it out ol order.
