FANCY DRESS BALL
SITCKSS AT OT.VHI'HI
Despite a torrential downpour parly m the evening there were hundreds of children and parents at the Otahuhu Public Hall when the Otahuhu Patriotic Committee's children's fancy dress ball was held. Mr. A. Murdoch was convener of the committee and he received valuable assistance from the teaching staff of the district school. Miss Duncan announced the prize winners. A bj'lenoiU programme of fancy dfindnj? was given by the juveniles and accompaniments were plaved by Mrs. J. E. Gillies and Mr. A. Murdoch. Supper was managed by a committee of ladies, comprising Mesdaines Kemp (convener), Pearce Hards. Warrington Jackson, Hancock, Pcngelly, Dew and Woodcock
