WESLEY CLUB
The Wesley Harrier Club had an enjoyable run from Mount Eden Methodist Church. The trail of seven miles led from near the base of Mount Eden across Manukau Road and up Mount St. John, then to Cornwall Park, embracing One Tree Hill, and back through side streets to the church. Only three packs set out. In the slow pack J. Wesibrooke ran well, while in the intermediate pack G. Yearbury and M. McNeil showed good form. Max 'Stevenson excelled himself by starting ofT in the slow pack, and as each faster pack cuught up. running with them. Eventually he finished up well in the fast pack. Runs-in were:—Slow pack: J. Westbrock 1, D. Brock 2. H. Barker 3. Intermediate pack: G. Yearbury 1. A. Graham 2. D. Douglas 3. Past pack: R. Riddell 1, S. Moore 2, M. Stevenson 3.
