depots for Soldiers
NEAR PRINCIPAL CAMPS (0.C.) WELLINGTON, this day. Convalescent depots are to be erected by the Defence Department in the vicinity of the three principal mobilisation camps, Papakura, Burnham and Trentham, states the Minister of Defence, the Hon. F. Jones. Soldiers who have been in hospital and are likely to resume duty at an early date are to be sent to these depots to complete their recovery before resuming military duties.
