School Reunion
Takapuna Grammar Defeats Ex-Pupils In AH Games
Organised by the Takapuna Grammar Fx-puplls' Association, a successful reunion was held at the school Grounds this afternoon, before a larse attendance. The school was successful in winning all the sports contests—a very creditable performance In view of the strength of the past pupils' teams. fn the main fixture, a Rugby match between the school first fifteen and an old boys' team. school won 13—18 In an rxrttlng game. Nettleton, the head boy. played a fine, game for the school and scored two tries. Wllklns and Foreman, the captain, also scored, while Sutcltfle converted thre* of the tries. Besides the scorers. Darlow and V.*au played well for the school. E. Prentice, North Shore wing three-quarter. P. Macindoe. Takapuna second five eighth, V,'. Treves and R. B. O. Mahcn gained tries for the old boys, of which J. B. King convened two. In the second Rugby game Takapuna fourth grade 11. beat the school feend fifteen 8. On the girls' Ride school also won the netball n— lo and the hockey 4—J.
