Jeffrey Lynn Julius Malette Charles Wlnninger Dusty Rhodes Eddie Albert Joy O'Keefe Jane Wyman Mrs. Malette Spring Bylngton The value 01" any picture which can get a person away from the cares of his daily life cannot be too highly emphasised. To be able to walk into a theatre feeling glum and to come away from it with a feeling of glowing contentment and good humour meane that you have certainly eeen a good picture. Suc-h a picture is "My Love Came Back," which began a second season at the Embassy Theatre yesterday. That it could be brought to the ecreen again at the same theatre after being away for only , a month in itself epeake volumes for its capacity to please—and it eoems that ae eurely as it pleased during ita first screening of three weeks, it will continue to please now. "My Love Came Back" ie a gay and refresiling comedy, with humour always bubbling to the top, and with a pleasing proportion of mueic—both classic and swing—to round off a good entertainment. At the head of the cast are Olivia de Havilland and Jeffrey Lynn. Mies de Havilland is seen as a young and talented mneician studying at a school of mueic. But it takes a little longer for Jeffrey Lynn to realise the same thing, and to make up his mind that Amelia and 'ho were made for each other. But their romance has been interrupted by two things. Firstly, an elderly and kindly gentleman has learned of Amelia's difficulties in supporting herself at the school of music where she ie practising. He, therefore, lakes steps to relieve her financial embarrassment. unbeknown to her. Secondly, Amelia lias two friendfi who have an insatiable (lceire to form a swing band.
