CASE FOR DEFENCE
Hearing of the case in which George Neville Carlsen. clerk, aeed 49. faced a charge of indecently assaulting a girl 11 years of age. was continued in the Supreme Court to-day before Mr. Justice Callan The offence was alleged to have taken place at Auckland on November 2">. The prosecution was conducted by Mr. G. S. R. Meredith and Mr. Dickson represented Carlsen. The case for the defence wa<= presented this morning and will be resumed this afternoon, after a juntas visited the scene of the alleged offence. Counsel will then address the jury.
