LORRY STRIKES FLOAT.
When a large motor lorry, owned by the Hygienic Meat Company, collided with a milk float belonging to Mr. C. M. Peck, of Dornwell Road, Mount Roskill, in Balmoral Road yesterday, a horse was killed and about 40 gallons of milk were lost. Only slight damage was done to the lorry.
