MT. ALBERT COMPETITION.
A competition, to further efficiency of drill movements between the four platoons of the Mount Albert Company of the oth Battalion of the Home Guard, was conductcd in the Mount Albert Grammar School grounds yesterday after battalion parade. Enthusiasm was shown and the winning platoon, the 4th. gave a commendable display. The judges were Captain Wilson and Sergeant-Major Brown. The winning platoon was commanded by Mr. C'arr, and comprised mainly youths and the older men.
