Ap-;>!e sales were fair. (.'siibbage-i and cauliflowers were in fair supply nnd realised \ery high pri<:es. (Quantities of parsnips and carrots ivere very heavy, with lower rates. Lettuce wae in good supply, with quality linos brin'ginj; very 'high values. Supplies of 'kmmaras were pood and fair pikes were realised. Fair quantities of beans were on the ■market with hi«h prices for quality lines. Green peas were short, with values very ; hift'h. Suip-plies of pumpkins were very ■heavy, nellina: at lower prices. Potatoes were in .slioi t stnpply and values were consequently very hig'h. I-'.iir quantities of celery were available, with prices much higher than last week.
