DECREASE IN DIVIDEND. IP. A.) WELLINGTON", this day. The directors of the Bank of Now Zealand announce that, subject to audit, it will he recommended at the annual meeting on Juno 20 that a linal dividend of :i per cent lip paid ordinary shareholders lor the last half year, making the total distribution for the year S per cent. Last year it was 10 per cent. The reduction this year is made necessary on account of a deciease in trading profits and in view of ihe uncertain outlook. A bonus of 7S per cent has been granted members of the stall'.
