MEN FOR CAMP.
REINFORCEMENT TROOPS,
Nearly 600 recruits from No. 1 (Auckland) Area will leave to-morrow to join units of the next reinforcements of the Expeditionary Force. First to leave will be 450 men for the infantry and artillery who are to go to Papakura camp. Headed by the band of the Ist Battalion, Auckland Regiment, they will leave the Drill Hall at 8.45 a.m. and march down Queen Street to the railway station.
The 130 men for Trentham are to leave the Drill Hall at 6.45 p.m., and be played to the station by the National Military Reserve Band.
On April 22, a further draft of 200 men will go to Papakura and 25 to Trentham.
