MYSTERY EXPLOSIONS.
SCARE AT GREYMOUTH. (P.A.) GREYMOUTH/ Sunday. Greymouth was disturbed shortly before midnight last night by a second explosion less than a quarter of a mile from the scene of Thursday night's ex* plosion. A hole six feet by two was made in a vacant eectioh at the end of William Street, near the GreymouthHokitika railway line, and a short distance from two oil companies' depots and tanks and from the railway workThe force of the explosion was considerably less than the previous one, fcnt residents in the vicinity were much alarmed. The size of the hole and the of the soil and shingle suggests that peKgnfte was-used.
