FURTHER ALTERATIONS.
The J. C. Williamson management announces that owing to difficulties in transport the commencement of the Gilbert and Sullivan comic opera season in Auckland has a;rain boon postponed. "The Gondoliers will now have its opening night on Friday, January 3, and will continue to be staged nightly until tie following Tuesday. A matinee will be presented on Saturday. "The Pirates of Penzance,'"' preceded by '"Trial by Jury," will commence on January 8. and these will be followed in turn by "The Yeomen of the Guard."' "lolanthe." "The Mikado," "Ruddigore" and "H.M.S. Pinafore"' (preceded by "Cox and Box"). Those who have already made their reservations are requested by the management to hare their bookings adjusted at the box office.
