I NORTHWARD BOUND. i PASSENGERS AND MAIL. After staying overnight in Auckland, Pan-American Airways' American Clipper left on the first stage of her flight to San Francisco at 9.45 a.m. to-day. Seventeen passengers were on board, 7221b of freight, and a quantity of mail. Several of the passengers arrived from Australia yesterday by air. Captain R. J. Nixon was in command. Passengers included: Mr. B. Ballard, Mr. and Mrs. E. Rabot, Mr. B. Lamson, Mr. R. Straub, Mr. L. Lawery, Mr. M. Clairmond, Mr. J. O. Hanson, Mr. R. W. Jones, Mr. M. F. Sultan, Captain L. J.
