CAR CAPSIZES.

EARLY MORNING ARRESTS. THREE MEN REMANDED. Arrested by Detective W. W. Roddick early this morning, three young men appeared later in the Police' Court, before Mr. J. Morling, S.M.. each charged with unlawfully convcrtin S to his own use, on December 27, a motor car valued at £100 belonging to Joan Barry. men charged were: Xoville Hugh Coughey, a rope worker (191; John Alfred Purchas, a labourer (20); and lan Keith Britten, a labourer (19) Detective Sergeant J. Walsh said the three accused were arrested about five o'clock this morning by Detective Roddick, of the police night patrol. "When pursued by the police car it is alleged they failed to stop, and the car, which it is alleged was taken last night, when taking a corner at 65 miles an hour capsized and was verv badlv damaged " added Mr. Walsh.
