BRIDGE AFTERNOON.

A successful bridge afternoon was held in Messrs. George Court's tearooms when the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals held their final bridge party of the season. The guests were received by Mrs. B. J. Marquet, president of the ladies' committee, assisted by Mrs. C. Beckley, bridge convener; Mrs. A. Farmer, Mrs. A. C. Green, Mrs. V. Millard, Mrs. A. R. H. Francis, Mrs. H. M. Barry and Miss M. Metzger.
