TWO KILLED.
CRASH IN FOG. AIR FORCE MEMBERS. 'PLANE STRIKES HILLSIDE. SOUTH ISLAND FATALITY. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTOHURCH, this day. Two members of the Eoyal Xew Zealand Air Force were killed when their aeroplane crashed into a hillside at Ataahua, near Kaituna, in a heavy fog this morning. The names of the victims are not yet known, as the machine crashed in coutitry difficult of access. Two residents heard the crash and the sound of the motor cease. They began a search at once, and half an hour later the 'plane was found.
Ataahua is a small farming settlement in the Wairewa County, 23 miles from Christen urch.
