WEATHER FORECAST.

FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Light to moderate northerly to westerly winds. Weather cloudy, with further fog or drizzle. Temperatures moderate. Seas slight to moderate. A weak disturbance liee across the central provinces. An anti-cyclone centred over south-eastern Australia extends on to the south Tasman Sea. HAURAKI CULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:-— Wind, calm; sea, smooth; weather, cloudy, with fog at intervals; visibility, poor; barometer, rising.
