COLLEGE PRIZES.
PARCHMENT CERTIFICATES. NELSON WAR-TIME SCHEME. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NELSON, Tuesday. The principle of awarding parchment certificates to replace prizes during war-time has been adopted by the Nelson College Board of Governors. Members considered it to be just as great an honour for a student •to receive a parchment certificate. The nioney, usually allocated for the purchase of books, will be handed to some . war fund. The same principle will also apply to special prizes donated annually by citizens.
